Le Grand Canal (appelé Canal Grande par les Vénitiens) est l'artère principale qui traverse Venise et coupe ainsi en deux la célèbre cité italienne. On le parcours en vaporetto (le bus vénitien) pour se rendre d'un quartier à l'autre; et pour admirer les majestueuses façades des palais qui le bordent.

The Grand Canal (called Canal Grande by the Venetian) is the main artery that runs through Venice and cut into two and the famous Italian city. One route by vaporetto (the Venice bus) to get from one neighborhood to another, and to admire the majestic facades of the palaces that line it.
